High-Protein Dunkaroo-Inspired Snack

All the nostalgia, none of the sugar crash.

Remember those iconic 90s Dunkaroos? The sweet, creamy dip with those crunchy cookies? Well, this grown-up version has all the fun with way more protein and way less sugar. Whether you’re a bariatric patient looking for a smart snack or just trying to get more protein into your day—this one’s a must-try.

It’s creamy. It’s sweet. It’s topped with rainbow sprinkles. And it takes less than five minutes to whip up (plus chill time!).

Protein-Packed Dunkaroo Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt

  • 1.5 tablespoons sugar-free vanilla pudding mix(I actually used cookies & cream pudding this time—because that’s what I had on hand—and it was still amazing! Vanilla would probably be even better.)

  • ¼ cup vanilla protein powder

  • A generous handful of rainbow sprinkles (because joy matters)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, pudding mix, and protein powder.

  2. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

  3. Fold in your rainbow sprinkles (don’t skip this step—it’s what makes this snack feel fun).

  4. Let the dip chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to thicken up and let the flavors blend.

  5. Serve cold with your favorite dippers—my go-to? Simple Mills Chocolate Brownie Thins.

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Packs in protein to keep you full

  • Super easy to prep ahead for the week

  • Feels like a treat, but fuels your goals

  • Kid-friendly and adult-approved

Whether you’re lounging at home, packing snacks for a road trip, or just craving a little something sweet after dinner—this dip delivers. It’s the kind of snack that makes healthy eating feel easy and fun.
